“Launch, Deploy, Release" is a 3 hour workshop for sign language interpreters who are interested in, or have experience with, working in the tech sector. Often “tech” is synonymous with “coding” or “computer science” but it encompasses much more than that. We will explore the unique content and contexts of the tech sector, what is meant by this term, and how it and the industry has evolved over the past 20 years. Through discussion and interpreting exercises we will develop strategies, skill sets, and linguistic libraries for working with challenging technical content. Throughout the workshop, we will be gathering and documenting our collective knowledge for future reference.

DEAF DEVS! 
This workshop is intended to support the interpreting needs of Deaf people in the tech sector.
